this British rom com limited series is so smart and delightful. tldr: boy and girl hookup at a nye’s party. girl finds out boy is a famous movie star and doesn’t want any part of it. ensue boy pining after girl and a little vice versa! created by and starring the wonderfully charming New Zealand comedian Rose Matefeo. each episode is a season i.e. fall, summer, winter etc. so you follow the characters over a good chunk of time but the episodes are only 20 mins. basically an extended rom com plus it’s British so it checks all the boxes. available on hbo!
